Why Support Boys and Girls Foundation?
You have many choices from "blue chip" charitable organizations with the long histories of service, large salaries and high administrative expenses to "start-up" nonprofits organizations with potential, but very little capacity. The Boys and Girls Foundation is a great alternative.
Like a mutual fund investment made on the strength and experience and expertise of the fund manager, The Boys and Girls Foundation's Board of Directors identifies, investigates and financially supports only those organizations that will make best use of your charitable contributions for its specific purpose.
Contributions
Gifts may be made during lifetime or by bequests in wills or trusts. Lifetime gifts of cash, property and/or life insurance to Boys and Girls Foundation are greatly appreciated and deductible on your current income tax return.
Deferred estate planning gifts often provide the greatest long-term benefit: a charitable Remainder Unitrust or Annuity Trust is a pooled Life Income Fund that will give you and your spouse garanteed income for life, before conveying your tax deductible gift. You may gain immediate income tax deduction and an eventual reduction in estate taxes as well.
The most dramatic tax benefits of all may occur when your gift comprises highly appreciated assets like real estate or investment holdings. Each is established at current market value even though your cost basis may be much less.
Fundraisers
Annual Beat the Pro Tournament
KFMB TV Channel 8 fundraiser benefiting Boys and Girls Foundation.
The tournament begins in June and runs every Saturday through August
16th. Each week, representatives from Channel 8 and Boys and Girls
Foundation will be at a particular golf course. Golfers compete
against local professional athletes. Daily prizes are awarded as well
as a final shoot off between the 10 finalists to compete for a 2-year
lease on a vehicle as well as other prizes. All proceeds benefit the
Boys and Girls Foundation.

From time to time we and other organizations that we fund have need for volunteers. If we hear of anything we will post it under this section of the website so check back occasionally for more information.
